missingWrote a review on 23 Septcozy atmosphereincluded breakfastparking confusion
The atmosphere served up a welcoming pub vibe, complete with quaint decorations and an old-world charm. There's a decent breakfast included, upgrading that could really elevate the morning experience.
The parking situation felt chaotic. it took a while to find a spot, and the entrance muddled in with the busy pub scene made it frustrating to check in. The room decor leaned heavily toward dark colors, making it gloomy, exacerbated by a small window with heavy Roman blinds that blocked light even when opened. certain amenities were lacking, like a non-working TV and a missing toilet roll holder, which took away from the comfort. Noise from passing traffic also crept in during the night, although it wasn't entirely disturbing. just a bit more attention to detail would enhance the experience.

The rooms are spacious with unique touches, like roll-top baths in some units, which provide a nice spot to relax after a day of exploring. There's a well-stocked bar that offers a decent selection of drinks, perfect for enjoying on the garden patio during nice weather.
The pub was closed during my stay, leading to a bit of confusion upon arrival without anyone around. My room had some issues, including a TV that displayed a broken picture and a bedside light that didn’t work. The bathroom could use some attention. the main lights were faulty and the cold tap felt loose, making it less than ideal for a comfortable stay.

The room was well decorated, and both dinner and breakfast were delightful, featuring delicious homemade cakes and a superb shoulder of lamb. a few service lapses, such as forgetting a dessert and inadequate breakfast bread quality, were disappointing. the lack of milk for tea in the morning led to an inconvenienced start to the day.
